We love being in the bush on foot. It makes you feel quite vulnerable but it is just so special. And you learn so much.
Hyena and wild dog on the way back from the walk
Not been to Skukuza golf club yet. Must make a point of visiting next time we go to Kruger

Hi Toddelelfe - gotta love a bush walk, even a tame one is still a wonderful experience in the Kruger.

Re: The Most Dumbest Spotter Ever ;-)
Thank you all for your comments
I know i am late. But so much more in life to do
On top the new football season has started. Tomorrow the 1st away game and i am the tour guide on the bus
And on top, Princess comes back from the summer camp.
And this will go on over the next weeks. 2 weeks holyday with princess. 1 st Cologne / Camescom then a week Paris.
After that, business trip to my Colleagues. Busy, busy, bus.
But now, it is time for the next chapter of this wonderful tzrip.
It hurts again
Alternative Title #27
Now it is time to go. To go for the 1st time to the nursery.
A cloudy day. And in this dense forest it was really dark.
Then loud noises, A trumpet. WOW, close by an angry Elephant. I think a young bull. Close to some houses. Staff village?
And I hear a car starting and with high speed fleeing. Nothing more for the moment.
Unfortunately not much to see in the nursery. Best things are some butterflies.
10 years back, this playground would be the highlight of the day.
So I leave the place and drove in no special direction through the area.
Not many , but some cool little sightings. I think Brown Snake Eagle
When I wrote this chapter, I sit in my second and beloved garden. But the birding book is at home. So I could not id the birds in this chapter. A Shrike?
Again a classic KNP-Picture. But wait, did you see the horse with the pajamas? Looked a little “scary”.
Closer inspection. Ouch.
I think, this was a too close contact to a predator.
But the Zebbie walked relative normal. So there will be a chance to survive.
And “hunting” this little cutie was a great joy
Close to the crossing of the roads ??? a traffic jam.
They are looking to the trees in the distance. Another car knows the reason. LIT.
I could not see any LIT. And the new bino is really good.
More searching. And some tipps from other people.
Okay, really far away. But yes a really great moment. If I remember correctly my 3rd LIT!.
And to finish this chapter, this little beautiful bird.
And thats not all of this wonderful day. There is more to come. Really great stuff
TBC…ASAP…

The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

O dear, an angry ellie best steer clear!
Lots of wonderful sightings along the way.
The zebra did have a lucky escape. Definitely had a guardian angel riding along on its back!
