During my latest trip to KNP on one of my stops at Lake Panic Bird Hide i witnessed an extraordinary event ...

.. a Jacobin Cuckoo attempting to invade a Weaver's nest!! The invading bird was attacked by the male Weaver and driven off.

I had my camera set of a drive mode and here is the best image out of the them.

That is a great sighting indeed. But the Cuckoo is a Diedericks's Cuckoo, not Jacobin.
