Hi,
is it still the case that you can buy the wild card at every gate / camp in Kruger? Our first overnight stay is at Punda Maria Camp.

Thanks, Elsa.
If they are not online, then I can still buy the wildcard in the next camp (Shingwedzi), right?

Can you still buy an international Wildcard at the gate when you arrive? We're finally coming back to Kruger this year! I can't wait for our trip to get here!

Welcome to the forum skywalker251.

You can buy your wildcard at the gate or at your first camp reception when you check in.

Hi All. We are booking 8 nights in Kruger and plan to buy a Wild Card. Am I correct in thinking that since it's valid for a year from the date of purchase, it would be best for us to buy it upon arrival in the park? Also, even though we don't yet have the card, I assume I should choose the accommodation online booking option that says I have a Wild Card so I don't want to pay the conservation fees online. Is that correct?

Hello homesweetsfrica

You are quite correct you can book online saying you have a wildcard and you can purchase one at your first camp when you book in .
This is what we did recently
Have a wonderful trip :D

Thanks for the quick reply, colbol. Glad to know I've got that straight. Looking forward to being in Kruger again. Each time we go, we extend our stay by a day or so and we finally are staying long enough to make the Wild Card worth the cost. :D
