Welcome Muriel.

If you go on the website - park - camp - accommodation available - you will see Camp Site at the top, above all the various types of bungalows and guest houses.

Yes, you do have to book a camp site and the number of people who will be there.

Hi Muriel and welcome

Yes it will be very cold at night - middle of winter.

If you are bringing you own tent you will also need to bring your own bedding.

Hello all!

Am I able to email reservations to make a change to a reservation I made online? I'm looking to make a few changes, including adding an overnight hide (which can't be done online). We've never stayed in an overnight hide and the opportunity to do so is too good to pass up/

Any advice would be appreciated!

TIA
Hi Lewisman,

Yes there is still 5% Discount for bookings made on the Online Reservation System.

Hi, what is the process for transferring a booking (in this case, part of a booking) from one person to another? eg, person A has a booking for 4 nights at Skukuza, 4 nights at Satara. He wants to transfer the first two nights at Skukuza to person B, a separate registered user on the online reservations. As an added complication, person B already has a booking for 2 accommodation units at Skukuza on these dates, but now wants to cancel one of them and use the transferred accommodation instead!
What is the process for this, as person A doesn't want to lose his cancellation fee? thanks

Lewisman, I am assuming person A and B know each other in all dealings?

I would say the transfer of accommodation is going to have to be a private deal between themselves and just needs A to give B the reservation # for the 2 nights in question at Skukuza and maybe a letter of explanation for the person at reception would help as well.
As for the cancellation of part of the booking by B, that will have to done via the correct cancellation procedure to SANParks. ie a mail to reservations stating which dates/units he wishes to cancel remembering that if less than 30 days to arrival there there will be some fees involved.
I hope I am understanding all this correctly?
