Good morning Pete, pnm wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 9:12 am I'm staying at Glen Reenen this July - a first visit to the park which has been on my bucket list for years.
I am booked into a HKB2 bungalow. I've looked at the description and it doesn't mention aircon or heater, nor can I see any aircon or heater in the photos. Given that I am hoping for snow(!) a warm bungalow becomes pretty important, especially as I am now rather old! Can anyone tell me if there is aircon or heating in such a bungalow?
Many thanks
Pete
According to Glen Reenen Housekeeping Manager, the camp has no aircon facilities.

Hi sabine71,sabine71 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 10:04 pm Hi everyone,
we are going to visit Golden Gate in November.
I have been to Basotho Cultural Village many years ago and liked the tour through the museum village.
Does anybody know if they still do the tours and if it is still good.
I heard they closed it down due corona and didn`t reopen it.
The park confirmed that the museum tour is still available to book.
Please see Golden Gate Highlands NP Activities
You can contact the Basotho Cultural Village on 058 721 0302.Museum Tour
A depiction of the architecture and life style of the Basotho people from as early as the 16th century to the present day. This tour is conducted seven days a week, and takes 45 minutes.
Enjoy your trip.
