Tessa, I have a book with a picture of a very similar looking flower called Maerua angolensis, and it says there are other a couple of other species with similar flowers. They would grow in the Kruger area. Hope this gives you a lead.

Could I have help with another plant ID.

I assumed this was the Sweet Pea Bush Polygala dalmaisiana, but it would appear not be as this plant in my photo has grey leaves. They stood out very clearly against the green of the Mopani.
We saw it in January between Mopani and Shingwedzi.

The purple flower tree is called :
Mundulea sericea
Cork bush
In Afrikaans
Kurkbos, visgif, Olifanthout

Hi arks, it is the Caster oil bush. Seeds are highly toxic.

Welcome Enzo! Hope you have many happy hours browsing the Sanparks Forums.

That is a lovely photo of the leopard, but I'm not sure about the plant species in the background. Maybe someone who knows more about plants can reply to your question.
