These photos were taken in Nov 2019 of Botsotso. He was identified and i was given permision to publish these images. :D :D
Unfortunately he lost about half of his left-hand tusk in the croped images, this is evidently. :hmz: :hmz: :wall: :wall:

It is always sad when one of these majestic bulls break or lose a tusk.

Thanks teddy_rsa for submitting your sighting and images to the project with this valuable information Botsotso

Sadly an image received on the 27th October 2019 by Gerhard Windisch indicated that Botsotso may have broken his left tusk. The characteristic ear markings in these images were not visible making confirmation difficult, adding the uncertainty were earlier sightings in early October showed the tusks intact. However an image posted in Kruger Sightings in December 2019 showed the characteristic ears markings and the tusk break clearly allowing the break to be confirmed. Visually he had lost approximately 50% of his left tusk.
