Tokai

Unread post by Giggs »

Good Day,
Newbie to the forum although been using the website for years and have been an activity permit holder for a long time.
I frequent Tokai MTB trails often as well as various parts of Table Mountain for hiking trips.
I tend to be straight forward and people dont like that. I joined this forum hoping to get more insight into the workings around Tokai MTB as it has proven difficult over the last few years to try and join them.
Thank You

Welcome to the forum Giggs,
I am trying to get some further info for you but can you just clarify for me a bit further what you mean by the "workings around Tokai MTB"
Thanks.

How is sanparks involved in the maintenance of the trails? Does sanparks provide funding towards the mtb trails? Should there be any area of concern, who at sanparks do we contact?

Not difficult at all, contact them on email from here -

http://tokaimtb.co.za/contact/

You can call them on 071 424 4712

And, as per your post, should you want to join them it can be done here -

http://tokaimtb.co.za/membership/

All of the above work as I have just tested them, on top of the above you can get hold of them on FB, Twitter and Instagram where they are very active.

Thanks, but I am looking from a sanparks perspective and not from the managing company.

Okay.
It just seemed that you were asking about Tokai MTB as you had been trying to "Join them", I obviously misunderstood.
My best guess then for a sanparks perspective would be for you to contact the regional office and ask to speak to the area manager.

Good advice and links from Disco1.

Head office switchboard: 021 712 0527, ask for Saskia Marlowe in the permit/hospitality dept.

Otherwise any further info is available on the website.

How long does it take for sanparks to reply to emails?
