Well as a Wild Card holder in the UK, ever since they came into existence, we have been able to renew online.

We also get a copy of the Wild Magazine; the latest arrived this morning 'Winter 2016'.

Two points to make you smile:-

It's our hottest day of the year > 30deg Image

and on the back an advert which includes....

"Ag pleeze Daddy
...
won't you take us to the Kruger ? "

This is interesting.

We get an electronic one but not a hard copy one. Don't know if it is only one or the other.

I'd love to receive a printed one. But then again, our wild card will be expiring soon and will have to buy a new one when we arrive on the 2nd March.

Should we renew now or wait until we arrive. Advice gratefully received. :)

Hi Nadine
If you have an active card you should receive an electronic mag and a paper copy - proper magazine.
The electronic one is not the same as the paper copy.
If you have not been receiving the paper copy while your card is active then please let me know, and I will make enquiries for you.

As far as renewing your card goes, that is a matter of personal choice.

Where do you live?

If in SA it can be done easily online, but if you live outside SA there are sometimes problems renewing online, so it might be better to do it when you arrive at your first park/camp/gate.

If you need further info, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hello balengo
It does not matter if your card does not arrive before you leave. Just bring the confirmation letter with you that you received by email, that will be enough.

It will be accepted everywhere.

It usually takes a while for you to get on the mailing list for the magazine, but you will get them eventually.

If you have a problem and don'r receive any magazines, please send me a PM and I will assist you.

I renewed my Wild Card membership (overseas visitor) in March 2019. Could someone please tell me when I can expect a copy of the magazine?
Thanks in advance.

Hi watershed, they will need to add you to the distribution list, and then hopefully you will receive your magazine. You missed the March edition, so hopefully you should receive one now in June. If you don't please PM me and I will make inquiries for you.

Let's hold thumbs/keep fingers crossed.
