I think the S26 is a nicer road, but it is more about scerery than sigtings. I tend to use it for getting from A to B.
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

I was lucky on both the H5 and S26. Once going one way on the H5 and did not see much. Turned around at the S21 intersection back on the H5 again, and we saw 5 Lions and a ***. So it all depends what your luck is and to see animals is just that, luck. Do not expect to see anything and what you do see then is a bonus. That is what makes it so nice, is when you expect nothing and then all of a sudden, you get a good sighting.

I find the H5 to be generally quite a corrugated road therefore don't travel it too much unless its to do the loop via the Mpondo dam and then the S26
Had mixed and varied sightings as with any road, right place and time. 8)

My best sighting on the H5 was a grader. Smooth driving after that!

I have had really good lion and leopard sightings on the S102 and you need the H5 or S26 to get there.
