Hello there,I need your help!
Here is a shot taken in April 2008 not far from Letaba. Thought it was Duke...but it can't be him as he had already lost one of his tusk in April 2008.
Then, who is it?
Thank's for helping!

Scanning through some old Kruger pics I found some pictures from this tusker. The picture is shot 21-03-2009 near Shingwedzi. Unfortunately part of his left tusk was broken :( I do wonder if this beauty is still alive :hmz:

Hi Robert - thanks for the contribution. I am confident your sighting was of Hlanganini Have a look at the marking on his trunk as well as his left ear.
I will move your post across to his topic

Masthulele had not broken a tusk.

You were lucky to have seen him as it is estimated that he died in June 2009 and his carcass was discoved at the end of August 2009.

Thank you Rosemary!
Reading the topic about Hlanganini I think I mixed up Shingwedzi and Letaba.... :hmz: it’s almost nine years ago and it could be that picture was taken near Letaba.
