KNP's meerkat and we are its friends

Unread post by inyanga 1 »

Hi,

KNP's anti-poaching crusades
has even got to the UK press, and maybe beyond ...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2017/06/24/can-modern-technology-save-rhinos-poachers/

Now how about us mites supporting them with more kit (I guess $1m is over the top for another Meerkat unit) ?

Can one ask the anti-poacher team leaders to give the forum a costed list of the their top five needs, other than people.

Maybe we can crowdfund the kit around the world for the sake of the animals being slaughtered for no good reason?

Inyanga, such a wonderful initiative but for obvious reasons any/all fund raising has to go through the correct channels.

Sure DB will be able to guide you further on this but there are some amazing projects spearheaded by the official SANParks Honorary Ranger Activities that folks can support.

Agreed Crested Val. Pleased that this is reaching the UK. The cruelty is so distressing to read.

Thanks for sharing.
