This poll closes in 10 days' time, and it seems that most 'mites are already in the Parks!

Not much to add to the next poll though! Come on guys, if you can think of something else, post it here to be added to the next list please!

Wishing you all a very happy and safe Festive Season! Image

I don't use books anymore as they take up way too much space been replace by my tablet and apps. My apps would be my third thing I take along with camera and bino.

Very pleasantly suprised to see that taking your SO rates so highly on the list     Well done,I believe in the part "till death us do part".The yellow ribbon figures are dismally low...probably one of the lowest cost items and having flown ours just recently in the beginning of December 2016, feeling of excitement and anticipation at spotting another YR was great.almost as seeing a good game sighting.

For all those returning remember to take the POLL!!!!!!

Happy New Year everyone! :gflower:

The results of the first poll are quite interesting, with a camera as the most important item to take with on a trip, followed by your SO and then in third place, binoculars!

More or less 46 'mites voted (some didn't vote for three items), and the rest of the items were in this order of importance:

4. Bird, tree, mammal, reptile, etc. books
5. Padkos to get there and for daily snacks for the game drives
6. Yellow Ribbon
7. Note book and pen (to make notes for your Travel Tale
8. Flask for liquid refreshments

Thank you all for taking the time to vote in this fun poll!

A big thank you to those of you who indicated your preferences for what must go with on any SANParks trip! You can now vote for the next three most important items to take with HERE, and at the end of January 2017 we can choose between the first three of each of these polls to determine the three most important items that simply can not be left behind.
