KTP Leopard: Kham

Unread post by AFRICAT »

Kham in KhoiKhoi which means Moon.

(These were taken VERY far away, so ID may not be possible. I do thank whomever puts in the time to try and help me. Very much appreciated.)

These were taken Oct. 20, 2011 just outside (south) Grootkolk, but before the first waterhole. The female was just walking through the grass when a large male, hidden in the grasses, ran at her. She lept into the nearest tree, and a standoff ensued. As the sun got hotter and hotter he decided to go up after her, but she would have none of it. Seems their views on family planning didn't coincide, at least for that day.

Monday December 01 - Grootkolk
Today was a travel day, so we decided to leave a little later. At 6:15 am, we were packing up, and Kham dropped for a drink
