Hi,
I have seen the other elephant mentioned in page 1 of this link in Dec 2011 near Mopanie for the first time. Please see below pics:

He was certainly in good condition and very aggressive. I then saw him again in March 2013 near Letaba. See below pics:

I have seen this elephant in Dec 2013 and then again in late March 2014 near Phalaborwa gate. He looks in great condition and is a massive elephant.

1 day is always a blessing but 10, 000 is never enough...

Re: Emerging Tusker - Ngonyama
We spotted Ngonyama on the S133 between the H14 and the S13 at - 9:12 AM on 30/9/2014. Verified by Kirsty Redman. He really is a BIG BOY!

Notice the two growths on his Left backside.

A side view after he had decided that backing a Land Rover up was not that much fun. He completely ignored our Fortuna, but didn't care for the white Land Rover.

Number 2 we saw 3KM North of Letaba on the H1-6 before the S95 loop.
The Letaba bull is Ngonyama, the thickening on the trunk as well as the shape of the ivory and clean ears are good indicators. I did managed to lighten the image that shows the full left ear and the hole at the tip of the ear is also visible.
Great sighting K-4S - I will move this over to the Ngonyama thread shortly.
