Juv red-backed shrike, CV
727 Latest lifers: Swamp boubou, Hartlaub's babbler, Chirping cisticola, Coppery-tailed coucal, Red-billed spurfowl, White-browed coucal, Scharlow's turaco, Copper sunbird, Long-toed lapwing, Eastern bronze-naped pigeon, Malagasy pond heron.

OK, hope this qualifies as an LBJ. And that someone can help.

I'm hoping it's the same bird. We think it's an immature pale flycatcher?

Spotted around Pafuri picnic site in mid Nov.

I'm no expert Saraf, but I would say it is a female Red-backed Shrike. :thumbs_up:

Hi wildtuinman

Thanks a lot. So if Im correct my 3rd one is a red backed shrike?

I spotted them all in kruger in January so all new birds to me.
