From this angle I can't see any diagnostic white eyebrow.. Will wait to hear where it was seen before making a call.

It was seen 2 days ago at Shikumbu Koppie near Phalaborwa Gate Kruger. :thumbs_up:

Paging through my Roberts (yes I have one in the office doesn't everybody :D )

I hate LBJ's looks like everything even some of the Pipit's.
I live in my own little world. But it's okay they know me here.

Your second bird I would hazard a guess and say Sabota Lark.
its such a common little bird at that time of year and nine times out of ten is the one that is usually seen.

3- Difficult to say but the bill seems too broad for a Pipit.. Could perhaps be a Lark, Sabota Lark maybe.

Thanks DD. It is a bit big for a Sabota, and slightly out of range. Pity that is my only pic.
I have looked (inconclusively) at all possible larks & pipits.

Can anyone else help here please. :hmz:
