Divine7polo's Save The Rhino. KNP, Oct. '12

Unread post by Divine7polo » Fri Nov 09, 2012 10:07 pm

I wonder whether you can assist me please?

Last October our good friends joined us in the Kruger National Park - with them was their 13 year old daughter, Chloe - after seeing rhinos in the park, and looking at the posters at Lower Sabie, she was so upset by the rhino poaching that when she came back to England she started making bracelets to sell to raise funds for the cause...a year and later after lots of door to door selling, canvassing etc she raised a whopping R3,000 to donate to Saving the Rhinos!

I have a lovely photo of her with the money that she raised wearing the bracelets that she made to sell....can anyone perhaps recommend a reputable charity where she can donate the funds, and who may be able to publish her photo and the story in recognition of of all the hard work she has put in for this worthwhile cause? I'd really appreciate your feedback? Thanks!

Thank you for the heads up Dotty! :)

This is such a wonderful story! That is such a beautiful example to show how much one little person can do.
Well done, Chloe! You are a true rhino ambassador!

Divine7polo, as Dotty said, we are a region of the SANParks Honorary Rangers, the Virtual Region which is this forum. We are constantly running projects collecting funds to assist SANParks in fighting poaching.
In March 2012 we donated much needed equipment, a few rands short of R 70 000.00 to the anti poaching teams in Kruger. All donated by members of this forum.
See here.

We are currently running various projects and we are well on our way to our next substantial donation and we would love for Chloe to be part of it. :)
We are a volunteer organization and fund all our own expenses so members can be assured that every cent they donate goes to their intended projects.
