My favourite place in Kruger is the Olifants river bridge. I just love the river and all that can be seen from that one spot. I was quite saddened to see how it has changed because of the flood and wonder how long it will take for the surface sand to collect again and for reeds to grow again. Right now it looks a bit "rougher" than normal but I am sure that in years to come it will once again be restored to its former glorious self.

Sad to see how many beautiful big trees were obviously washed away :(
