Many thanks for the ID, I wasn't sure the tail was forked enough to be fork tailed drongo and the guide I have, Sinclair, says that Square tailed can show a shallow fork. It was at Tremisana lodge in Balule Game reserve. :D

Agree with Josh.. it is a Southern Black Flycatcher.. way to small for a Drongo.

Another bird that has me perplexed, plus the pix are (very) dark, as is the bird, so I have lightened them to perhaps help? I'm thinking that it might be a drongo or a black flycatcher, except that it seems to be missing its tail? :hmz:

I think you are on the money with SBFC, although not a juvenile, they are spotted. This fellow has probably had a scrape of sorts... Not looking too happy here.
