Good morning all the guessing game people :D

Please allow me to ask you to guess the alias of the forum member hidden between the lines below:

An ocean will point the direction
An S will put land under your feet
Someone British of the 1970’ music scene will provide the right track
Add two A’s on two different places to wrap it all up
But to make it real easy it was a common year starting on a Thursday of the Gregorian calendar

 Ecojunkie    Next time I should think of something a bit more difficult :hmz: :D

An ocean will point the direction - Pacific NorthWest (Pacific Ocean)
An S will put land under your feet - US: States
Someone British of the 1970’ music scene will provide the right track: Chris Norman
Add two A’s on two different places to wrap it all up – Normana and USA
But to make it real easy it was a common year starting on a Thursday of the Gregorian calendar - 53 (1953 was a common year on the Gregorian calendar)

Another one:

Works primarily on watches not clocks
Just watch the Nordic clocks of the nation’s railway stations
I was one of them in the 19th century
The Lady and the Tramp is a good clue for the second part of me
As the plate is important when we are slurping away

:D  Hugh you GG people are experts  that is for sure. How do you do it?

Works primarily on watches not clocks - a watchmaker
Just watch the Nordic clocks of the nation’s railway stations - some also designed by Betty Linderoth
I was one of them in the 19th century - Betty Linderoth, A Swedish watch and clockmaker
The Lady and the Tramp is a good clue for the second part of me -scene for the movie
As the plate is important when we are slurping away - they eat spaghetti

= Bettyspaghetti :D

:gflower: to all of you as well :D Have a great weekend.

Hello good and friendly GG people :D I have another game

Alias

Start all of them with the same
Four letters will get you on a space less track
She was a popular and proud part of water that is clear
Someone went hunting
Think something good, rising again and plural en route to the veld that is low
but be careful and replace number five with an I and an E

Ecojunkie  :) :D  :thumbs-up: I am now convinced that you can read minds :D . Noel it is

It were bright warm days then as in the opposite - His travel tale -" Kruger in a sombre mood in March" - Bright is the opposite of somber

And I captured nature in all its glory for all to see - He wrote about nature and posted pictures that showed his appreciation of the nature and the animals in Kruger

Perhaps a present or two will brighten up the green and red - Christmas is also called Noel and red and green are used by many over the Christmas period

And to identify a snake is not too difficult - He assisted quite a few persons who have asked for snake ID's on the forum

A thin band of brightly colored material is flown by me - He mentioned a few times hat he flies his yellow ribbon in Kruger

I thought I'd torment you guys early this morning

Recipe:
1 x Eastern Cape Town
1 x Church Meeting
½ x Crown
1 x Old lady
11 x characters

Bake them all together and leave overnight in the oven while singing “mm a mma, mm a mma, M a MMA”

Serve in the morning sounding like a dog

PS: the song is my attempt at humming  a well known SA advert :wall:
Have you seen KNP from the SKY yet??

Recipe:
1 x Eastern Cape Town
1 x Church Meeting
½ x Crown
1 x Old lady
11 x characters
All these clues should've gotten you to Ouma Greyvensteyn who started baking "Ouma Rusks", after the community of Molteno in the EC had a meeting in church during the 1939 depression. Each person at the meeting received ½ a crown to see what they can do with it to raise money.... she bought ingredients with it and started baking the rusks which proved so popular that it's been selling ever since. Today there are 11 different flavours of Oumas Rusks.

Bake them all together and leave overnight in the oven while singing “mm a mma, mm a mma, M a MMA”
My terrible attempt at humming the popular ad for Ouma's Rusks goes "dip a ouma, dip a ouma, DIP a OUMA!!"

Serve in the morning sounding like a dog
Rusk is not quite right - so if you want to serve it as a Rusky it would sound like a Husky :slap:

PS: the song is my attempt at humming a well known SA advert

The whole riddle was posted as a recipe referring to baking the rusk - also a rusk would be left in the oven overnight to dry and be served in the morning.
