Hello all

What. A. Day. I'm sure many of us were going to extraordinary lengths to keep up to date with the situation in KNP today - myself included. Truly unbelievable scenes. As heart-breaking as it is, the 2000 floods won't leave my mind, and I really hope the floods continue to subside. No human lives have been lost, for which we should be eternally grateful. However, we do not yet know the impact on the animals, but let's pray that damage is minimal.

And please, let the forecasters be wrong and let the rain subside.

Yesterday's results:

1. No. 2, A very wet day at Satara on 11 points
2. No. 5, Lonely warthog on 7 points
3. No. 4, Blue wildebeest drinking on 5 points

Please choose 3 pics today:

1. Skulking Addo BBJ

2. Nossob's resident BBJs from a different perspective
*image removed*

3. Gorgeous Addo dusk
*image removed*
4. Early bird

5. Misty mystery
Image

6. Another cloudburst at Satara
Image

7. Pretty red hartebeest
Image

8. Springbok herd

9. Just incredible

Hi!

I hope everyone has a really good weekend lined up - even if it means doing nothing at all

I'll be studying for a german "test" I have soon, and I have to say I do feel a little old for exams  Oh well, it's great to be learning a different language, even if it is the very basics. The cams have been quiet today, with one stunning sighting. KNP seems to be recovering from the battering it took, but there has been the very sad news that it has taken a life. We offer the man's family condolences in this tough time.

Yesterday's results:

1. No. 1, Nice close up of the bateleur eagle on 15 points
2. No. 3, Zebra comes within reach of the webcam on 6 points
3. No. 7, Nice elephant on 5 points

Melrockson and I got the selection right. Congrats MRO!

Limited shortlist today, please choose 3:

1. Pacing wildebeest

2. Kudu bull dominates Addo

3. Posing cheetah
Image

4. Photogenic jackal
Image

5. Lovely Addo dawn

Hi all
