As a suggestion, perhaps we can use the same, or a similar, puzzle construction - and just alter the clues?
EVERYBODY'S TR!
TR: A NEW DAY IS S-OWN
TR: NECTAREAN NICETIES OF THE NORTH
TR: PRIMEVAL PLEASURE

OWN you are most welcome to do that

I am sure you would be able to edit the grid here and there if you need an extra block for some words. :D

Forum Crossword

Unread post by Waterbuck » Tue Jun 30, 2015 9:18 am

I have a plan!! Is anyone keen on a monthly Forum crossword?
I have quickly used a crossword generator to make one up, so that we can "test the waters". Its a bit tricky, because you may need to print it out, fill it in, scan it and then PM back to me, or just jot down the answers in a PM. Or perhaps someone (or a mod) has a better technical/IT solution to creating a online forum crossword????? I don't mind generating one monthly (for now) and perhaps we could even move in the direction of the Bird ID challenge, where they give away a book prize if a minimum number of people enter?

So, let me know what you think. I am no professional crossword maker, but I have based this crossword on animals, parks, plants, places etc. associated with SANPARKS. I have tried to blend in some forum aspects and I have tried hard to make it possible to do the crossword from your desk / lounge (or Google if all else fails).

So here goes the first one - please let me know what you think and please make suggestions around whether this can work and/or any improvements  If there is enough interest, I will post the answers/complete crossword towards the end of July......with a new one?

Love the idea :D

With a month to complete the crossword I am sure I can find the time to do this at some point. But, I am technically challenged and struggling to print this off? :hmz:
