I never really birdwatched, as such, but I did spot some birds and photographed them during visits to our national parks.
I got really interested in birding since starting to feed the birds in my garden, and there is now about 30 species visiting. During the holidays, one of my projects was to go through my photos, identifying my sightings and compiling my list.
I am on 77. I know this is not a lot, but it is a good start for somebody who hasn't really done much birding. It should be easy to add quite a few species to this list in the next year. I'd like it to get to at least 150 or more.
