LOL! There is an easy website: which you can use for countdowns, calculating time between two dates and more.
If you are on Facebook you have more options. It's there as well, and remembers your last countdowns. So you don't need to fill in the dates/times again.
Not posting much here anymore, but the photo's you can follow here There is plenty there.

Feel free to use any of these additional letters to correct the spelling of words found in the above post: a-e-t-n-d-i-o-s-m-l-u-y-h-c

I have known for over a year that I will be visiting the Kruger Park , however that visit is still over two years away . That's a countdown of well over 3 years . That's a long time but finances dictate it is so , and it will be a seven week holiday in South Africa with a fantastic five weeks in the Park . Really looking forward to it - understatement of the year .

318 Days! Not going to be an easy wait, however.
A few days ago, a television celebrity was talking about her recent trip to Kruger (Private camp, I am sure) and she said she got tired of seeing elephants. Our youngest, who is absolutely obsessed with ellies said, "Dad, how could anyone get tired of ellies??!! That's just wrong!!"

My goodness me RemiE, how wonderful to see you again :D

Have really missed you on the forums and wondered if that concrete jungle had swallowed you up.

106 days to go   and you will be amazed at how quickly it will fly by. When I finished my TR we had 300 and something to go and here it is just around the corner. I still have the map with your sightings marked that you kindly sent to me so sure that will come in very useful in the south

Hey everyone, we have been missing from this wonderfull forum for some time now, we have now downsized our home in Australia in preparation for more frequent visits to our favourite place on earth.....Kruger.

We will be returning to Kruger later this year in July for nearing 4 weeks and like everyone else posting here, we too can't wait and already counting the days.

Like all of our other Kruger trips, we look forward to those yellow ribbons and friendly chats, whether it be out and about or over a beer and braai in a rest camp or picnic spot, perfect.

About time. We will miss you by a matter of days, returning home at the end of May. We still have Rob's glasses, so hope that he has some good replacements. It seems that we will see Kruger in an altogether different light, based on the present (and perhaps deepening) drought.
