art for conservation

Unread post by wild at art » Sun Nov 15, 2009 7:55 pm

The Lowveld Association of Arts is organising an Art Auction in 2010.
All the proceeds will go towards the Kruger(anti poaching). This means that artists will be donating paintings and the art will then go up for auction.(Will it be possible to do the auctioning on the web as well?)
We are in contact with the Honorary Rangers of our region and they are willing to come on board. Any artists willing to donate a painting can contact the Association

Great idea! Does it have to be paintings, or would these images of mine work when printed on canvas?

Really good photographs of interesting things and places are often bought and used as 'art' where I live, so I hope they will be part of the auction Sprocky.

Appreciate what you have before it becomes what you had.
