#TuskerQuest

Unread post by Hawk » Mon Nov 20, 2017 6:57 pm

Let it here be recorded that on the 27th day of November in the year 2017, an expedition led by Lady Kirsty Pennyfeather, keeper of the Elephant Chronicles, will set forth into the formidable, steaming, teeming heart of the Bushveld in search of those elusive and highly sought after Packyderms, known to those in the highest scientific circles as “The Emerging Tuskers”.

Accompanying the eminent leader will be a ragtag, (sorry! acclaimed) support team consisting of her able sidekick: Barbie Doll Hancock, The ethereal spirit of the Cosmos: Madame Zhaidova, Master of drums and bush telegraph: Poxifella Lebea, Transport Mistress and Camel driver: Zhiana Bubblegum Harmse (SANParks has graciously agreed to allow Camels into the Kruger for this special project), Keeper of the Virtual Bushveld: Tweetybird Preston, various Wizards, Gurus and Masters of Bush Lore and a motley crew of bearers, jesters and general hangers-on collectively known as “The Rabble”.

For those wishing to follow the progress and any unlikely successes it is suggested that an African Drum Modulator be acquired to read Poxifella’s messages. These are readily available from Game and all fine stores. Sound Cloud is considered to be the best App available, guaranteed to read Poxifella’s sophisticated drumming.

The outcome of the project is expected to be highly sensitive information destined only for those with the highest security clearance.

Challenges and dares will be considered if sufficient quantities of gold coin are pledged. All proceeds will be managed by the SANParks Honoarary Rangers, Virtual Region and donated exclusively to aid conservation in SANParks.

Please note:- this project is being led and conducted by SANParks. At no time will any locations, or any sensitive info, that might put any elephants at risk be given out. The aim of the project is to educate the public about, and to promote, the Emerging Tusker Project and will be done in a manner that will not compromise any animals.

The final product will be podcasts placed on the website. And we hope that you will all join us in having some fun on the forums along the way.

Wonder if that particular one will be found DB :hmz: :hmz: I too think he might qualify as a tusker

Any elephant with remarkable tusks (more than 1.5m from the lip line) is of interest.
