Insect: Tailed Net-winged Beetle

Unread post by francoisd » Mon Jan 19, 2009 3:49 pm

Tailed Net-winged Beetle (Lycus trabeatus)

The maps in the book Field guide to insects of South Africa is difficult to read due to the fact that they are small and squashed in top to bottom.

It does however seen that the Tailed Net-winged Beetle might be seen in Kruger and Mapungubwe.

This one was however photographed in Roodeplaat Nature Reserve in Desember 2008
