crab ID needed

Can anyone help with an ID for this crab, seen at the (very low!) dam at the bottom of my garden in Darling in mid-December 2015.

Hi arks
the only crab found in the Western Province is the "Cape River Crab' (potamonautes perliatus) and this info was found in the book "Freshwater Life" A field guide to the plants and animals of Southern Africa.
I hope this helps
