Thanks for your help to ID this colorful guy seen in Punda Maria restcamp on the road by the chalets on may 1st this year at around 4pm

Your colourful bug is a moth.

It looks like an Oriental Bee Hawk (Cephonodes Hylas)

Nice pic. Well done.
