The time will fly by....or so so I keep telling myself. Just about to send all our details to Jazil for entry on the Meets and Greets.

Thanks Xankanka...to be honest I was going to wait until it was 100 days (only 2 digits then the next day!) but I was just so excited I could not wait. That's what Kruger fever does to us all.

Thanks Mike! It might be difficult to sleep, due to all the excitement... But nothing one or two Kruger naps can't fix!

We will be sorry to miss you this year TessaG. It is always a complicated choice of when we can fly out and for how long..from personal choice I had hoped to move out or at least manage a 50/50 with the UK but due to personal reasons this is no longer a realistic option for us. Since we were away for Christmas last year, felt we had better make the effort and stay home this year as all our family are spread out far and wide and we are the only uniting force now. We'll be with you in spirit though!! You'll be able to look upon our trip as a recce for your own!

Safe travels and good sightings to all going to Kruger soon.

One month till I will be there (22-26 Aug) - staying just outside the park in timeshare, but will be going in each day. I'm taking one of our daughters and two grandchildren. The 6 year old loves the bush and is very excited - she has already requested a trip to Mlondozi! I have warned her that there is probably very little (or no) water there at the moment.
Day visitor Malelane or Crocodile Bridge 22-26 August 2016.

Looks like we might be there at the same time PeeWee!

If I remember correctly, I might have seen you in September 2014 as well.

Anyway, the count-down is ticking. Not too long anymore.
Still need to sort out my lens. (Had an accident a while back  ). If the replacement converter doesn't work properly, I'll have to splash out and get the new Nikon 200-500 lens :D

Enjoy your trip, don't forget your yellow ribbon and check Meets&Greets to see who is where and when.

Have fabulous photo shoot.

Regards
Mike

Mant You're in single digits! don't worry, it'll go quickly enough.
And if you get too desperate, you're only a few hours away and can pop in for a weekend. :)
Something us foreigners cannot reasonably do.
Not only that, when we're back you're still going!

Happy countdown
Mike

Hi Mike,

March 2017 seems so far away. We live in Johannesburg so the Kruger is not that close for us, I wish it was and then I would be there every day.
