Dhellas...wonderful only 19 days now to go.Last I read was that Biyamati roads were open and all in satisfactory conditions.Suggest you keep checking closer to the time,we are having summer rains on and off at the moment. No reason to worry, the Park is just receiving much needed and rejuvenating rain after the terrible drought. :gflower: :gflower:

Hello,

Hope everybody who is on their way have some excellent sightings.

Fly out next Thursday then to the park on 24th for 3 glorious weeks - can't wait.

Hope Mlondozi dam has got some water in it. So depressing when you look out from the picnic area having cooked breakfast and the dam is completely dry, as it was on our last visit in December 2015. Anybody got any recent news of the state of the dam?

bondm - the last photos of Mlondozi Dam were very encouraging. It seems it has finally got filled up! I agree it was very depressing to see it so dry - I was there in mid-October 2016 and there was not a drop of water.

Wishing you a wonderful trip!

Yeah Mischief, seeing that we had to cut our December trip short by 10 days we did not get 2016 quota filled.
Hope to see you at the cricket.

Thanks for the good news Hippotragus. It will be great to see Mlondozi dam as it should be - with a good level of water. Only hope the dirt roads are open.

Thanks again
