Are you going to be at the cricket Mischief? You are close enough to Kruger to come and meet MANY 'mites at the cricket on Saturday if you are working during the week! Please come and join us, it would be lovely to meet you in person!

3 and half weeks until I leave the UK for Swaziland, and then the 1st April to Malelane, and then up to Skukuza, then across to L.Sabie, and then Marloth Park. :)

Hilda, all things are possible but maybe not practical or attainable.Really would like to pop in but cannot confirm yea or nay at this stage. :o

MM you are safely tucked up in your bed in Skukuza getting a well deserved Dudu ,you have had a busy day. When we lived in the Florida Roodepoort area and visited the Park that first night was like a giant sleeping tablet, battled to keep your eyes open after 8 pm
Helol you have a really special trip planned, enjoy every minute of it
Hilda three more sleepies...how fantastic      :k :k :k

Thanks all.

With me visiting Kruger alone, I am a little apprehensive at the thought of meeting up with a non too pleased elephant, but apart from that, really looking forward to it (except for the spiders!!). Next year, hubby is coming along!

Hi Cecilec :k :k
That is such a great pleasure. You just have to read some of the Travel Tales that have been posted in the thread.I can see you have an absolute passion for the Kruger National Park and many many of those travel reports with the stunning photographs and videos will make you feel as though you are actually there    a bit before the actual time you will physically be there. So many of the Mites are equally as passionate and love the Park and this is truly reflected in the Travel Tales that they post. You have to appreciate the extreme amount of time and thought these people have dedicated to these reports all for our benefit :gflower: :gflower: :gflower: :gflower: :gflower:

So grab a big bucket of     and enjoy! :k

2 more sleeps and then off to the Cricket!! Lots to do before leaving on Thursday, but so far all under control (she says crossing fingers and toes).

Looking forward to meeting up with lots of friends at the casual bring and braai on Thursday evening. Then the cricket will be played Friday and Saturday, followed by what is usually a wonderful dinner on the Saturday evening with guest speakers etc.

On Sunday some of us have a meeting and then hubby and I are off up to Satara for another 4 nights.

Do have a safe trip Hippotragus.Pack a windbreaker and a tracksuit......although rain has stopped and sun is trying very bravely to shine through there is a decided nip in the air.Early mornings and after sunset at the braai it will be chilly. Also bring LOTS OF SUNSCREEN.
Off to Satara oh how    am I.My bestest camp in the Park,so central and such a diversity of animals and routes and and and......... :gflower: :gflower:
