Please note that library is currently closed to the public. We are about to start with the renovations which i think will last until early next year. Renovations for the museum have already been completed.

Looking forward to the renovated and updated Library! It can be so informative on the history of the Park and other things people want to know about.

Library Week Celebrations

Unread post by Lesley Nyawo » Tue Mar 17, 2015 11:21 am

The National Library Week will be celebrated from 14 – 21 March 2015 throughout the country under the theme “Connect @ your library”.The Stevenson-Hamilton Knowledge Resource Center organized various activities to mark this event.

National Library Week is meant to create awareness about the role of libraries in society and facilitate access to information; therefore the campaign will focus on educating staff and learners about the use of internet and different searching engines. Everyone is encouraged to visit the library in Skukuza during this week in support of this initiative.

An update on schools that will be visited will follow as the library week progresses

I posted under the wrong thread Lesley, sorry  but I don’t know how to move my post there under the Library Week Celebrations thread. But    for the Library Week Celebrations is what I wanted to say.
