Then they weren't doing it. As none of the morning,sunset or night drive boards were up to date.

I prefer the sightings books which were used many years ago before the sightings boards. At least in a book people can write the date, time, exact location as well as what the activity of the animals were (i.e. crossed road, on kill, etc.). In the old days there were even rangers manning these books at tents and one could have a good conversation with them regarding activity in the area.

I find the magnets on the sightings boards are too large to provide an exact location and they get moved around easily.

I found during my last visit
the magnets on the sightings board became play things for passing kids :evil:
......So can one totally depend on the magnets?? :roll:

That's been happening for years. I remember my brother get a telling of from mom when he did it when we were kids,never did it again after that. :lol:
Yes sadly the parks sighting boards leave a lot to be desired compared to other options available.
