100% correct, Theuns! Well done
It takes one tree to make 10,000 matches, but one match to burn 10,000 trees.

No , but within 1 days ox wagon ride from there .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Theuns: Maybe I am confused, but as far as I know the P Grobler dam pushes back to the Ratelpan hide. The river flows north at that point and the wall is north of the hide. That is why it looks so full and not flowing.

My answer of P Grobler dam was ment to be "hide on P Grobler dam" but I didn't know the name.

BG, if you drive north from Timbavati picnic spot on the S39, you will pass the Piet Grobler dam, on your left, then the Ratelpan waterhole on your right and then you will see the Ratelpan hide on your left hand side. The Piet Grobler dam pushes back to the Timbavati picnic spot and the Ratelpan hide is north of the dam wall and downstream....I think? :hmz: :hmz:
