It's the Mantemahle river bridge near the S36 junction.
The simple rule to follow with all animals is one of respect.

According to this article the only access between Skukuza and Tshokwane is via the Lower Sabie low level bridge
http://lowvelder.co.za/377753/damaged-bridge-kruger-not-accessible/

Will be interested to hear more news on that as it becomes available

The low level bridge at Lower Sabie is currently open.
There has been further wide spread heavy rain in the park overnight and this morning, so we keep fingers crossed.
Many of the dirt roads, certainly in the south have been closed.

Is there already an update on the H1-2 situation?

I will drive to Orpen from Paul Kruger Gate next sunday and don't want to go all the way via Lower Sabie.

Nothing yet Salva!
Your only other option will be to drive up and enter at Orpen gate.

I saw some pics on FB that they are busy working on a temporary diversion on the H1-2.... does anyone have any idea when that is due to be completed?

Good news people, I received a message today from some one living close to Paul Kruger gate that the diversion road between Skukuza and Tshokwane will open this afternoon. :D

Hi all,

Now as the H1-2 detour between skukuza and tshokwane is open I was wondering if the other gravel roads that have been closed in the beginning of march in the Marula Region (H2-2, S30 and S79) are also open again?
Thx a lot for any updates!!
