God willing, we will be in Pretoriuskop for a few nights very soon.
Has anybody got any news about the leopards of Pretoriuskop?
I suspect they are all grown up and separated by now, but any news would be good news.

Thanks and God bless,

Its separate from the camp Mike and you will find it along the H1-1 towards Numbi Gate, very nice, usually quiet there and there are lovely little tables and seats underneath some shady trees!
Ablutions and also a kitchen area for washing up etc.

Pretoriuskop Day Visitors Centre/Picnic Spot
most of the pics in there are when it was first being built, I have added some pics of mine from when we used it a few years back.

We were sitting at Shitlave Dam this morning just before 8am having coffee and a young leopard walked along the far side and climbed the tree on the far left corner so it could be one of the grown cubs.

Hi Dirttrail,

Sure sounds good! We were thre 4 nights, but no luck. Looks like they have spread far and wide from the rock kopje where they grew up!
Started burning areas at PKop last week around the picnic area... desparately needed -- the grass is so long we hardly saw anything there in 4 days! 1 nice herd of elephants the last evening 1 km from camp... no sign of the drought!

Glad you had such a wonderful sighting!

God bless,
