Nkumbe a few days ago - there were more than 100 elephant spread out over the plain , black rhino & calf , many giraffe , not a wildebees or zebra in sight ...

A passing rainstorm .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Some people have or had some brilliant sightings here

During July this year we saw giraffe, elephant and impalas. The view over Kruger from here is impressive 8) .

Love this spot. When you arrive, you have the sense of the wilderness extending forever. At first you see no animals and then the longer you look, the more you see. In January this year spotted 4 of the Big 5 from here! :D

I agree, it is a great place to just sit and 'absorb' the bush..... it never disappoints with sightings, it just takes time to scan the great savanna that spreads out in from of this lookout point.
