Bert, I saw a nice communal boma (completed) and pics of it somewhere, in the area of the EH huts around number 36 - the ones near the camping area. Cannot remember about the paving

Hi - everyone, I'm seeking clarification regarding the BD2U and BD3U bungalows at LS. Are they both equiped with cooking utensils / cutlery ? Also, other than 2 vs 3 beds what are the main differences between the 2 types of unit.

Were planning to come to Kruger in November and would dearly love to stay a few nights at LS, as weve not stayed there before.

Hope someone can help with my questions

Thanks, Higgsie

Good day Higgsie

The BD2U's and BD3U's at Lower Sabie are fully equipped, i.e. cutlery, cooking utensils. The difference between the two is mainly the kitchen area. In the BD2U the kitchen is outside, but in the BD3U the kitchen and the third bed is a seperate room with a patio in front.

Both are very beautiful accommodation with lovely views on the river.

Hi Everybody. I am busy putting together our December 2015 trip and have managed to get BD2 in Lower Sabie, but I have looked at the map an unable to find where those huts are situated.

Hi Jarodd, if you have a look at the Map you can see the BD2's listed from about 73 upwards. Just below the BG2's

Here is the swimming pool. Not the best picture, I'm afraid.

Any mites out there able to confirm the size of fridges in EH 2,3 and 5 huts?
I think I remember under-counter size / bar size fridge in EH3 .
Just wondering if it's bigger in either of the other types of huts?
I am also wondering if EH2 huts seem particularly small inside as I've only seen from outside and they did seem to be tiny?
Many thanks if you are able to help!

hi Kite
was in Lower Sabie last week and stayed in the EH3 and EH2 huts opposite the swimming pool-they have been renovated in the last 2 years and have full size fridges-yes they are quite small but good enough for a night or 2's stay-they have built a nice communal kitchen in the middle and the braai's are also quite new.

Does anyone have pictures of the new upgraded EH3, EH2 or EH5 units or the new communal kitchen in the middle please?

New safari tents being built in Lower Sabie! I believe there are 5 new tents going up presently and another ten to be refurbished in the future.
