Dear Grantmissy;

The renovations at TEBA did start in November 2013 and we have experienced delays due to circumstances beyond our control. Progress is being made and TEBA is expected to open during 2015.

We have also renovated the old SAPS House at Punda Maria which is expected to open within the next 2 months.

That seems to answer your question on another thread, K-4S. It looks like it will be very nice and I look forward to seeing/hearing more about it.

The road to Gonarezhou via Pafuri depends on the water level of the Limpopo River .Where can we get the best advise on the crossing possibility of the Limpopo River . Please provide contact number and a persons name who will be able to assist in this really important information for trip planning.

Hi Ruger,

The crossing is usually driveable from april onwards but it all depends on when the first rains of summer will fall, but I suggest - as requested - that you contact the border-post directly at (013) 735 6882. Note that the office hours are from 08:00 to 16:00
