Orpen vs Talamati

Unread post by THILO2512 » Wed Jul 12, 2017 7:21 pm

Orpen or Talamati in August.
Which camp is better for animal watching and round trips.

I would be very happy about a few tips.

Both are in a great area, but I would choose Talamati - it is more 'out of the way', has a lovely birdhide, away from the gate traffic.

Well, I'd choose Tamboti over either Orpen or Talamati

THILO2512 based on my experience of visits to both Orpen and Talamati I will choose Talamati. We had some good sightings at this Bushveld Camp during past visits. Enjoy your visit

Orpen is a great camp too and we enjoy staying there, the waterhole in front of the camp can be productive at times and we enjoy the peaceful and "Old Kruger" atmosphere of Orpen Camp.
