At the top of the document that lists the Pensioner Discounts, it says 40% off all camping in all National Parks.

We have a book for after 8 Oct for a week in Skukuza and the total cost is R1540; and full price is R305 a night. So the discount was applied.

It really is - so we can go to Kruger from 8 Oct - about 13 Dec, this year for around R1500 a week. Excellent deal imo.

I would like to enquire regarding the progress of the renovation/restoration of the historical Struben Cottage in Skukuza Camp please. Thank you in advance.

That will be brilliant news thank you Elsa :gflower: The Struben Cottage in Skukuza is of huge historical importance for the Kruger National Park.

Good evening ,

I have booked a BD3 unit at Skukuza for januari and requested nr 54.
Does antine maybe have an update of the construction at Skukuza. I rest that the construction is near the conference center, and so is nr 54.

Should I request another number?

I liked nr 54 because its not in the middle of the camp, not so busy bit if construction is going on nearby maybe its better to change to another unit.

Hope anyone had info on this.

Thanks in advance, Patricia

Hi Patricia

We stayed in unit 53 a few weeks back. The construction site was not a problem at all. It is a lovely quiet section of the camp and completely different to the general perception that Skukuza is a large over busy and noisy camp.

Enjoy your stay.

Thank you very much for the reply Gbird. I'm glad to hear that you had no problems with the construction site. Will definetly not change the unit then. It sounds great!
