Beautifull!! Not common to spot it around a small waterhole like this. There are round about only 20 breeding pairs in the whole of Kruger.

Very striking looking bird which fools everyone in thinking that they are very common.

Every bird has got a distinct marking on tje black "saddle" hence the name of the bill which can be compared as fingerprints to id each individual.

Females can be distinguished by their bright yellow iris in a otherwise black eye which is absent at the males.

Can anybody tell me what kind of creature is in the middle centre of the last picture. It crawled there slowly. Looks like a tortous to me but is it? :?:

Looks like deer or antilopes that are lingering in the bushes on the right. They have been there for about 5 minutes but won't seem to come closer :cry:

It might be a wild dog. The ears in the shadow are quite large
I'll take a day in nature over an office cubicle any day.
