It appears that the Satara waterhole is empty. Can someone explain this?

Hi Andries, try asking under here: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=48939
You're more likely to get an answer there than on this post as the webcam posts with dates are usually only for photos.

There have been more animals than normal drinking this morning. Not sure if that is a factor or not.

Gosh, that is interesting, Mel. :hmz:

The white tip to the tail makes me wonder. It could be a white tailed mongoose. They can grow quite large.

The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

Thanks MM and Rita :gflower: :gflower:

The white tip on the tail made me think wild dog at first, but then the animal seemed a bit too solid in build, with thick legs, whereas wild dogs are very slim with long thin legs.... :hmz:

I thought the same, but it could be wild dog taken at a moment of blurriness... :hmz:

Morning MM :D :D

I'll go with the moment of blurriness theory and call it a wild dog  :gflower:

I would say Wild Dog or Hyena(white tip on tail could be a reflection from the spotlight)

I wonder if we have a mating pair of leopards at Orpen currently :hmz:

This leopard looks like a large solid male to me

Whereas this leopard looks smaller and not as solid, so maybe a female :hmz:

Could be a pair...but maybe it's just the light that gives us another view of the Leopards visiting Orpen :hmz:
