It's a BBJ, Waterwatcher. :D The poor light makes everything look different, and also adds a spotted look which is confusing.

At Nossob it's almost a case of "If in doubt, it's a BBJ" they are very common there.

Is it a common sight to see a jackal sharing a waterhole?

This little guy seems to be avoiding eye contact as he kept this pose for at least a minute judging by the timestamps on the photos.

When I first started keeping an eye on the cams I spotted this. Any idea what it is?

Thanks Trrp-trrrrrrrr. My friend said it was a BBJ but your answer seems more likely.

Because of the thick fluffy tail I would go with Brown Hyena TT ?

And I agree on the little guy at Satara, either a squirrel, or possibly an Agama - a big one, lol.

Thanks DB...This one really has me stumped :| ..The Brown Hyena usually appears much larger on the cams than this guy, the head is also rather small. :)

(If the light was just a bit better at the Cams :wall: ) maybe also a squirrel! lol
