Oh,good evening everyone!

Mmmm.....greeting first would be the friendly option!

Remember Hippos cover LARGE distances in one night and the Timbavati River isn't that far away. is it?

Stop compaining and blaming you machine!!

Timbavati is very close - I'd say a kilo from the cam. Does it have enough water in it though for hippo? Nothing else as far as dams or rivers close by.

I was also trying to puzzle out where the nearest water was and couldn't, I didn't want to spoil it for anyone but decided they were possibly rhino and not hippo.

Wow -never gave rhino a thought. Had another look with my special view glass  and still think it is a hippo going away from the wh....

Ive had a look at it, and unless there are new animals in the park, this is indeed a Hippo...

Good spot!

I reckon hippo too, there must be nice pools at places in the Timbavati. If the cam wasn't on a go slow we would have missed the sighting altogether 8) . Marabou now.

Re the cam's go slow - I am just hoping that it is due to the fact that Kruger time has slowed....give those of us in the Park soon longer there
