Warbler, Great Reed

Unread post by Johan van Rensburg » Sun Oct 27, 2013 5:26 pm

The Great Reed Warbler, Acrocephalus arundinaceus, is a large bird with a strong bill, reminding one a bit of a thrush. They migrate to Southern Africa to escape the northern winters, reaching their summer stomping grounds in December.
