I found the African skimmers at Engelhard Dam. Then near P/kop a Shelley's francolin tried to sneak over the road, instead giving good views. These two birds take my total to 380.

Going through tomorrow. The pelagic is off as a result of the foul weather

After our recently completed trip to the KNP, my total now stands at 284

Notable additions were Verreaux's Eagle, African Wattled Lapwing, Common Buttonquail and Freckled Nightjar.
Latest lifers: House Crow, Grey-backed Cisticola, Ludwig's Bustard, Tractrac Chat, African Reed Warbler, Black-bellied Starling, Plain-backed Pipit, Common Buttonquail, Cutthroat Finch, Freckled Nightjar

Yes, It has been a while and things have most certainly slowed down, but here are the latest additions;
397 - Black Sparrowhawk near Albisini end 2014
398 - Striped Pipit on Olifants River Backpack Trail Oct 2015
399 - Scaly-throated Honeyguide in Pretoriuskop Rest Camp Oct 2015
400 - Purple-banded Sunbird in Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp November 2016

There you have it Johan, the latest forum member to join the KNP 400 Club. Eventually!
