Black-faced Waxbill takes us up to 412

My list are not as extensive as all of your 'mites list but I saw the below unique birds last week in the Kruger which I am adding to my humble list:

1. Sooty Falcon
2. White throated bee-eater
3. Carmine bee-eater

Where did you see the White Throated Bee-Eater? It is considered a Rarity in South Africa.

Haven't updated in a while, but at least I have moved into the 600's now. Latest total 603

Some specials seen include Green Barbet, Red Headed Quelea, Western Marsh Harrier, Spotted Crake, Green Malkoha, Rudd's Apalis, Gorgeous Bush-Shrike and many more

WF bee-eater...and sooty falcon is not at all common. Nice trio to get, as carmine is one of my top birds George.

Hi DotDan, I saw it in the Kruger close to Nkumbe lookout point.

New total, 583 adding species such as Croaking Cisticola, Ayres's Hawk-Eagle, Bush Blackcap, Red-footed Falcon and Common Redshank. Year-end target 595!

Geez, you guys are doing VERY good! I don't even know what the total of our list is! No time to sort it out! But hopefully, one of these days, we'll just MAKE time for that. But I'm sure it doesn't come close to any of these huge totals! Congratulations to all of you! :clap: :clap:
